Depending on how you subscribed, your instructions and how the change is handled may be different.
How did I subscribe?
To find out how you subscribed, go to your membership page. You’ll see information about how you subscribed. You’ll also see a link or button to allow you to manage your subscription. Read below to see how your subscription platform manages changes to your subscription.
Huckleberry website
If you completed your subscription on the Huckleberry website, you can upgrade from Plus to Premium by going to Settings → Huckleberry Memberships in the app. We will charge the difference for the upgrade, and your subscription will keep the same start and end dates.
If you change from an annual subscription to a monthly subscription, you would not be able to revert back to the same annual subscription with the original end date. So if you changed back to an annual plan, it would have a new 12 month term.
Apple App Store
For subscriptions through the App Store, upgrades are effective immediately, but downgrades only occur after the end of the original term.
Apple will automatically refund the remaining time on your Plus membership when you upgrade to Premium. It will look like you were charged for both subscriptions, but if you go to the purchase history page of your Apple subscriptions, you will see the refund for Plus there.

If you purchased through the App Store, we don’t have access to manage your subscription. All cancellation or refund requests must go through Apple.

Google Play Store
For subscriptions through the Google Play Store, upgrades and downgrades are effective immediately.
When you upgrade, Google will not charge for the Premium subscription right away. Instead, they will take your Plus payment and give you as many days of Premium membership as that covers.
For example, if you have a new Plus annual subscription and you upgrade to Premium annual, they may give you around 6 months of Premium with the payment they had already charged, before charging you again.
Keep in mind that it may look like you were charged for both subscriptions. You can check this in your Google subscriptions.
